About the Author
Francesca Halse was born at a very young age and has been creating things (trouble, dolls, stories, outfits, interiors) ever since.
A lifelong lover of words, she pursued a career in copywriting, penning everything from music festival billboards to footwear infomercial scripts and banking policies.
She writes fiction and poetry, with a fondness for rhyme, and occasionally sidesteps into modelling to make use of her 5’11 height. Her interest in historical fashion, Victorian England, and interpersonal dynamics lends an almost anthropological lens to her work, which explores the societal interplay of perception, power, and truth.
Francesca makes her home in an eclectic pink apartment with her ginger fiancé Blair and his ginger cat daughter, London. Counterfeit Most Cruel is her first published novel.
